Nadeem Ahmed has more than two decades of experience in handling a wide range of commercial law matters, both from corporate and litigation side.

Saim Hashmi

Mr. Saim Hashmi is the senior most lawyer at our firm. He originally headed Corporate Section for many years, drafting and structuring Pakistan’s first seven SECP approved securitisation transactions, syndicate finance and listed TFCs both listed and privately placed, successfully completing a most difficult due diligence of NDFC for NBP. Also, over the years, he offered opinions on a whole range of commercial and corporate laws.

Later on, Mr. Hashmi shifted to the firm’s litigation side and has since appeared and argued some of the most complex legal propositions before all High Courts in Pakistan and has obtained favourable judgments and orders in many cases. He has also represented prominent clients and has argued contentious matters before Honourabe Supreme Court of Pakistan.

In view of increasing work pressure on the corporate side of the firm, Mr. Hashmi has again taken charge of the Corporate Section.

Mr Hasmi brings with him an unmatched wealth of direct knowledge and experience of working on the corporate as well litigation side of commercial and corporate laws of Pakistan.




Mahmood Ali

Mr Mahmood Ali is a senior member of our corporate team. He specializes in corporate, banking and commercial matters.

Over the years, Mr Ali has been involved in offering legal services in a range of areas such as due diligence of companies, specially banks, transactions involving corporate financing, project financing and Islamic financing. He also has an extensive experience of handling issues relating to intellectual rights and property matters.



Sobia Sheikh

Ms. Sheikh studied law at China’s prestigious Renmin University. After studies, she worked with a law firm in China.

Samreen Inderyas
(Senior Associate)

Ms Inderyas has a vast experience in conventional and Islamic financing transactions, real estate matters, which include verification of title documents of properties, perfection of securities, creation of joint securities etc. Moreover, she has also worked on public-private partnership projects from both Government of Sindh’s and private investor’s side. She has also dealt with senior officials of Board of Investment to ensure compliance of several matters with their laws and regulations.

Ms. Mehrunnissa Katpar, after completing a law degree from University of London, has been working with the firm for almost two years now.

Having exceptional professionalism, focus and confidence, Ms Katpar quickly progressed from research and vetting of documents to herself handling major transactions on her own.

Ms Katpar has drafted, negotiated and structured various large financing transactions. She has also been advising Government of Sindh on different legal aspects of a number of Public Private Partnership projects.

Iftikhar Khan

Iftikhar Khan, BA, LL.B, MA (International Relations) is an Advocate High Court.

Mr Khan is a core member of our corporate team with ten years experience of handling a variety of legal issues relating to various aspects of corporate finance. He also specialises in legal and practical side of real estate matters, representing purchasers or sellers of large properties, drafting, vetting and negotiating commercial contracts.

Mr Khan has worked directly on public-private partnership projects with the Government of Sindh, in which he was responsible of drafting, negotiating and vetting project documents and rendering legal opinions and advice on the project structure and complex issues related to the projects.



Moeed Ahmed

Moeed Ahmed specialises in immovable property matters, specially confirmation of title and registration of mortgages. He has been drafting and vetting bank finance documents including finance agreements and charges.





Aroma Ali

Ms. Ali assists the seniors in corporate and commercial matters including research and rendering opinions, vetting of commercial agreements, finance and security documents. She has also worked on the registration and incorporation of branch offices of Chinese companies working in Pakistan.

Amaneh Rizvi

Ms. Rizvi assists the seniors in different projects and financing transactions including drafting transaction documents, conducting research on laws and regulations, rendering opinions on legal issues, vetting of commercial agreements etc.

She has also worked with the seniors of the firm on public-private partnership projects of the Government of Sindh including a infrastructure (road and bridge) project led by a private engineering company.

Jam Asif, BA, LL.B, is an Advocate of Supreme Court and has bar membership of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan, Sind High Court Bar Association, Sind Bar Council, Karachi Bar Association, Lahore High Court Bar Association, Islamabad High Court Bar Association and Rawalpindi High Court Bar Association.

He has vast experience of arguing a whole range of commercial matters in courts of various provinces. He has argued and won some of the most contentious and nationally important commercial cases and many of the judgments obtained have been published in various law journals.

Mr. Jam Asif is heading the litigation section of the firm.

He is responsible for monitoring all litigation matters of the firm from lower/subordinate courts to superior courts of Pakistan.

Jam Asif has 60 reported judgments to his credit.


Bahzad Haider

Bahzad Haider, BA, LL.B, is an Advocate of Supreme Court and has bar membership of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan, Sind High Court Bar Association and Karachi Bar Association. He has won certain contentious cases within the shortest time possible both in lower courts and High Courts. He handled both civil and criminal litigation.
